there lived an apek, who needed a tongkat to walk.

it took him 10 minutes just to walk across the living room.

one day, he was bored at home. so he chose to go down to the coffee shop and grab some munchies.

it took him 30 minutes to go there. on his trip back, he caused 2 people to miss the upcoming bus, a child to forget where his mom was going and me to walk on the grass.

his determination is priceless.

and me? i'm bored. that's why this post is up. :)

what was in their minds when they crowned the infamous RRRrrris Low???! I feel that she doesn't possess the qualities of being a beauty queen. Firstly, she doesn't have a proper diction. If she ACTUALLY represents Singapore, oh my god, what a disastrous event. what happened?? why Rrrrrris Low? She doesn't have a good body either.. Ya she's skinny, but where's the figure? she's like a papan already.. haiyoh..

QUIK FACT! after SG's NDP on the 9th august, now its malaysia's turn.. on the 31st of august, malaysia turns 52. i get to sign on a board!

went to Genting Highlands for the weekend to paint the apartment. The weather wasn't as cold.. only when it rained at night.. FREEEEZING.. haha.. 5 and a half person squeezed into the lil red gen 2.. KAO PNYER SEMPIT! the brother drives.. the father sits in front.. and the mommy, me and the sister and the small puteri pisang sits at the back.. all i can say, alot of chewing here and there..

the painting part was very tiring much.. with puteri pisang 'nak cat! nak cat!'.. so she happily paints the walls.. and i painted her arms.. and she cried.. then she started to paint again..

over the weekend, i managed to rest and relax.. i feel revived. and of course, i miss you, boyfriend.

today i woke up and realized that NDP is OVER... ok lambat. but yah.. now then i realized that its really OVER.. no more '7.30pm at F1 site'. no more '11am at eunos for transport'. no more ahmad shaking his ass from side to side for tempo.. (ok tak perlu) but yeah.. no more AHMAD.. and his God-forsaken slap.. skarli dier pukul.. 'gedebook!'. sakit seh. no more hideous toy-soldier-but-look-like-space-ranger uniform. no more stupid silver shoes. no more ogling at hot hot guys in uniform. no more free OCK. no more free milo. no more free ice cream.

sadness. i hope theres another event like this. i miss it.. even though its freaking irritating.

i couldn't bare to see the sadness in her eyes. the pain, the anger that resides in her. yet she tries to stay as strong as she could. facing the parents and siblings of her partner, i can feel the shame and sadness in both parties. after what has happened and what is GOING to happen. i am just there to witness it all.

frankly, i dont know how to react to these kinds of situation. she gave me a choice to leave her alone at his house. i chose not to. i know that she needs me there to give her support.. at least i'm there to console her..

i came to my own conclusion that he is mentally unwell. he is facing great depression. i guess he's the kind of person who keeps it all inside. obviously it builds up over years. lying is one of the symptoms of stress and depression. simply because he choose to create his own world in his mind so that he can forget other problems. so now, he has multiple identities and this cannot be cured unless he seek help from a professional. the more he resist, the more he will get worst. things like this dont just go away in a day.

i pity his family.. especially his parents. they told us that they have been facing this for both their sons. but the 2nd is better simply because he has a job and living his life normal. only him.. he is causing the troubles in their lives. when i look at them, they have the faces full of despair.

we often do things that are unorthodox... things which are outrageous.. thats why we called HUMANS. we are weak and do not have control of ourselves.

how can we not be depressed after doing something obnoxious? we tend to hit, slap, beat, kick, hurt ourselves in any way we can so that we can feel better. truth is, its over and done. no point inflicting pain physically and emotionally coz it doesnt do us any good. sit down or lie down.. have a good cup of hot cocoa or tea or coffee.. clear your mind and relax.. switch on to symphonic melodies if it helps you to relax.. take a deep breath and tell yourself that it is OVER. cry if you have to.. let it all out.. and the most important is.. YOU SHOULD NOT LET A STAIN RUIN YOUR SHIRT. what it means is, its a stain in your life, take better precaution next time so that it would happen again. learn from of steps in life and you will be smarter and stronger.

if you need me, i can lend a listening ear for you, lend a shoulder for your tears..

just....

love yourself and the people who loves you genuinely. we live only once on this Earth and life is just too short.

This year’s Parade will start at 6pm. (similar timing for the Preview)
The Floating Platform @ Marina Bay is the venue of the parade and show.
The military contingents will also march through the City Hall area via the Padang at St Andrew’s Road. So you may catch the action there even if you don’t have tickets.

4. Singapore National Day 2009 Fireworks

Fireworks will be launched during:

1. all 3 NE Shows (11, 18, 25 July 09)
2. Preview Parade (1 Aug 09), and
3. Actual Parade (9 Aug 09)
On National Day (9 Aug 09), the fireworks will last longer than during the NE Shows and Preview.
The fireworks are expected to be launched near the Floating Platform @ Marina Bay at the end of the Parade/Show, around 8pm – 8.30pm

today is the start of school... yeah i was late.. what's new. well, i have my reasons ok! :P

so anyway, today.. there were 4 groups and all of em had 5 members. crap. i was late. i was odd one out. -_-

so thankyou! to team 4 for adopting me. :D they were fun, i must say. but.. the faci.. gave me a big big big great shock of my life. seriously.. fuh.. the body.. a serious body builder! good thing that the body is not my type. he's nice. very resourceful. i lyke!

okay about the problem. i feel lyke CSI. really worth coming to class.

its about this fella

mr jimmy ray bromgard. he was convicted for something he didnt do - rape. he was sentenced to 40 years imprisonment. the reason behind this false conviction? his bad luck.

he got himself a bad lawyer who did nothing. he was at the wrong place at the wrong time. and the scientist who processed his case was an ass. comparing hair through a microscope..? fuh...

well thanks to DNA testing, he was exonerated after 15 years in jail.

so our task of the day is to identify what was the forensic mistake. were there standards? were there justice in science?

of course! standards and regulations are set to ensure these mistakes wouldn't happen again. but unfortunately, it is still happening. other men were even sentenced to death - after which the authority realised that they were all along innocent. after which, the real perpetrators are still in the lose. some others were convicted because of racial conflictions. and i thought there's racial harmony..

when will all this craze end? where is the justice?

day 3, 4, 5... still in kuching..

so the 3rd day was purely shopping and walking.. thats along the waterfront. surprisingly this country is very clean! i feel as if i was in SG..

along the way...

some seniors were dancing to this classic tune. put a smile on my face. although they were old, still they're active. :)

day 4 we went to 'Annah Rais Longhouse'.. the homes of Bidayuh tribe.. heard they are Christians.. not Muslims.. they offered 'tuak' which is an equivalent to alcohol drink at the door.. hehee..

theres alot of reasons behind being able to go alot of place.. kinda sad we didnt manage to do alot. maybe next trip to sarawak :D

so day 5.. the day we're leaving kuching.. spent RM 70 on mcdonalds at the airport. hehe..

ah theres my plane.. take me home..

and so my trip is over. i wish to go there again.. theres alot i missed.. the next time, im gonna enter the nature parks! find that big big flower.. :)

5 days and 4 nights aren't enough, i say.

we started our 2nd day with the breakfast buffet in hotel. the food was satisfying much. me n mom managed to get the last bits of lasagne. oo nice nice nice. after stuffing our tummy, we set out for 'civic centre'. its a 3 storey building. dont be fooled. the 3rd storey is like... higher than we can imagine. its absolutely free of charge. the scenery...

then we went to Semenggoh Wildlife Centre. this is where we are supposedly suppose to see 'orang utans' but we were unlucky. none came during the feeding time. but we manage to see crocs.. so big.. so scary.. even though in cages. ee..

these are wild orchids.. real wild..

other things that we did - bought clay vases, shop here and there.. bought kek lapis Sarawak (layered cake)..

after which.. we decided to end the 2nd day..

there there. 1505 hrs. 5th june 2009. jetstar airways. to kuching. from changi airport terminal 1.

my 2nd 'airplane' adventure from changi airport. i dont care if its budget airlines. still, i get to flyy. im happy.

oh yeah.. this trip, traveling with mum, dad, brother, 2 aunties and an uncle from dad's side of the family. :)

its a one hour flight to meow meow kuching. love the skyy. clouds looks so.. touchable. hehe

touch down at KCH at 1700 hrs. i felt the excitement. i've never been to borneo island.

ah of course.. checked in Harbour View Hotel. its location is very accessible. the waterfront (Sarawak River) is just a few steps away. the rooms are quite satisfying. nice comfy beds. there's some cable channels such as ESPN, star world and CNN. not bad at all :)

so after washing up, of course all of us were hungry. we went to 'top spot seafood'. apparently its on top of a multi storey carpark. i think we took about 15 - 20 minutes from the hotel to walk there. the food was almost awesome. then we tried this dish called the 'umai'.

literally raw fish.. lime.. onions.. im not too sure what else.. the first few was nice. after that, it started to give me that kind of 'i wanna puke' feeling. i guess its not my flavor. and that plate cost RM18. yeah. but it was worth a try. :)
